The goal of comprehensive body science/sexual health education is for all people to gain the skills and knowledge required to maintain healthy bodies, healthy relationships, a healthy body image, and to know what to do in unsafe situations.

In alignment with the BC Human Rights Code, SD 20 also teaches about diversity in all grades to promote a climate of understanding and mutual respect where all are equal in dignity and rights.
